FINK HORIZONTAL HOG

DESCRIPTION

Features

- Smooth start-up.

- Automatically reverses at start-up to release jammed material.

- Stops immediately in the event of blockage.

- Draws only required power

- Knife holders are separated from the rotor for quick and easy replacement.

- Machine does not require to be anchored to the floor.

Durable

FINK WOOD GRINDERS are designed and manufactured for years of dependable,

efficient and economic operation. They are built to surpass the most stringent safety

standards without compromising machine performance.

- The power train is simple, rugged and designed for quick and easy maintenance.

- All sensitive machine components are protected against dust and mechanical damage.

Low noise emission

- Quiet operation at 80 decibels on average is less than that of a power lawn mover.

- Rubber transmission mounts absorb mechanical shocks to reduce noise.

Efficient

The machine delivers outstanding cutting performance even on the hardest materials

while keeping power consumption low.

- Rotor disc are manufactured from high quality steel for smooth running and

maximum cutting performance.

- Knives are stagger mounted to ensure that they engage the wood with maximum

cutting force for a uniform shearing action across the entire width of the rotor.

- Knives are made out of tempered tool steel for ruggedness and durability. The

knife is made circular to provide maximum cutting surface, index able 180

degree and reversible 4 times the service life of a fixed blade cutter.

- Knife holders are separate from the disc and individually replaceable for quick and economic repairs.

- The anvil is made of tempered steel and has precision ground sickle shaped

blades matched to the knives for optimum shearing action with low power consumption.

Infeed Conveyor

Fink horizontal grinders are equipped with a self balancing shaker conveyor, various

conveyor lengths are available. The conveyor does not require anchoring to the floor.

Controls

The factory programmed Siemens PLC continually monitors machine operations and

recognizes malfunctions as these occur. The PLC also controls auxiliary devises such

as the chip evacuation or exhaust system.
